Dan often wrote the scripts for Rockstar games as well as producing them, and he has a writing credit on every GTA as far back as 1999’s GTA: London 1969 and GTA 2. GTA 6 will be the first GTA game that Sam Houser releases without his brother and Rockstar co-founder, Dan Houser.
Rockstar originally planned to release the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 on Tuesday, but footage of the trailer leaked early, leading to its early release. In a news release, publisher Take-Two Interactive confirmed that GTA 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Locations are varied too - in addition to downtown Vice City during daytime and night, we see what appears to be GTA 6’s version of the Everglades and Key West Streets and beaches are dense with NPCs, and wildlife flourishes - we see flamingos, alligators, dogs, retirees in thongs. The leak was massive, and dataminers and fans are still sifting through it and discovering interesting tidbits information and insight that got buried initially under all of the actual media of the game that was leaked, like gameplay footage. The leak isn't technically new, as its just based on files that actually leaked last year when a very early version of the game from several years ago leaked online. And if the leak is accurate, the game is going to have a crazy number of side activites for players to lose track of time playing.
